Clara is a California native who has been working in the veterinary industry since 2013. She is an experienced veterinary assistant and very skilled customer service coordinator. When she is not at work, she spends time with her beautiful children, Jasmine and Angel. She also has a cute husky called Layla.
Kelsie, a Texas native, moved to Santa Cruz at the age of 18. She joined
the Summit Vet team in 2014 as a kennel attendant, worked her way up to
Kennel Manager, and is now settled in to the front desk.
When Kelsie isn’t at work, she enjoys spending her time with her sweet
Golden Retriever Aspen. You will often hear her say “If my dog can’t go,
then I don’t want to go”. Their hobbies include hiking, stand up paddle
boarding, fetch at the beach, road tripping and photography (yes, her dog
has her own Instagram page, lol)!
Kelsie loves working with all of our patients/clients and looks forward to
continuing her career in the Veterinary field.
Sierra has been a part of the Summit Vet team since April 2017. She came on as a technician assistant while she finished her veterinary technician degree through carrington college. She passed her vigorous national veterinary technician board exams in 2019 and is now one of our main Veterinary technicians.
She is usually in the surgery rooms with the doctors and is often busy doing dental procedures, however you have probably seen her out and about for appointments, or helping at the front desk as well!
If she’s not working, she enjoys taking her rescue shepherd mix Rose for a run alongside her horses on trail rides!
She is currently out on maternity leave with her first child on the way, but will be back with us in a few months!
