.

What Does Grooming Include?

We offer various pet grooming services, such as anal gland extraction, nail and fur trimming, specialized shampoo applications, and coat conditioning. We also provide other services, such as ear cleaning, flea and tick treatment, and coat styling, shaping, trimming, and cutting.

How Long Does Grooming Take?

Depending on the type of grooming service you choose, your pet’s breed, and your pet's condition, the grooming process can take approximately 3 to 4 hours. Smaller animals will take less time. We don’t like to rush the grooming process. We want your pet to become comfortable with our groomer so it is not nervous. We also need to be safe, since we are handling various tools and will be close to your pet.

How Often Should My Pet Get Groomed?

On average, pets need to be groomed every 2 to 4 weeks. However, the variations will depend your pet’s health status, nutrition, environment, activity level, breed, and size. You can tell when it is time for a grooming appointment by looking at the condition of your pet. If your pet starts to look shaggy, can’t see, or spends more time clawing your furniture than usual, it is time for your pet to be groomed. You can also talk to our professionals to learn more about signs that your pet needs grooming.

Why Is My Pet Shedding Between Grooming Sessions?

If your pet has a chronic shedding issue, you should inform our veterinarian. We want to make sure the shedding is healthy and not a sign of a problem. We can administer the appropriate treatment with a particular grooming procedure that can minimize the amount of hair your pet will shed.

Will My Pet Be Sedated?

No. It is against the law for our veterinarian to administer drugs to calm down pets that might be scared. Our friendly and skilled groomer knows the best of handling every pet, even the ones that get scared during the grooming process. Our groomer can work with your pet to calm it down and help it get used to the grooming process.

Can I Watch My Pet Get Groomed?

We do not allow owners to stay with their pets during grooming. Staying with your pet might make it overexcited or anxious, which will hinder the grooming process. Some pets are also protective of their owners and could get aggressive. However, you can stay in our lobby.
